Original era manufacture. Early pattern, US, pre WWII 45th Infantry shoulder sleeve insignia. European Theater WWII North Africa Sicily Italy Southern France Germany 511 days of combat in 8 campaigns. Yellow wool felt swastika which is machine embroidered onto a red wool felt square. Large size, measuring three inches square, lightly mothed, colors are bright.
