Original era production. US Envelope commemorating the USS Macon's first visit to Avalon, California. Signed by the USS Macon's Executive Officer on November 21st 1934. Less than three months later the USS Macon was destroyed in a storm off of Point Sur California, with the loss of two of her crew.Colorful envelope, showing light handling and wear, with clear postal cancellations.
