US 19th Century Cavalry Yellow Shako Lambs Wool Pom-Pom

Original era manufacture. Cavalry yellow lambs wool pompom measuring 6.25 inches top to the bottom of the brass collar, and 8.25 inches overall. Strong colors, no moth issues. The fun thing is that it came in a mailing box from W. Stokes Kirk in Philadelphia dated 1972. The box was stuffed full of IW period helmet parts to include this pompom.
