Original era manufacture. This most interesting fraternal coat came in with a large uniform collection purchased last Spring. Dark blue-black wool, hidden-button front coat, being a cross between a US 1872 & 1895 Army Officers fatigue coat. Having gold wire sabers directly embroidered into each side of the collar along with the lettering, 1st KANS. On each shoulder is a 1st Lieutenant shoulder strap with Cavalry yellow wool backing, and an embroidered tent at center. Size about a 36, no moth issues.
