Original era manufacture. All bronze construction smooth bore saluting cannon, measuring 15 inches in length, with a ring mounted on the back. The muzzle measures 20 mm in width, and the tube is open to the touch-hole. The letters U.S.N. appear on the base of the barrel. The barrel trunnions rest in a U-shaped, bronze cradle with a mounting post on the bottom, a nicely made mahogany wood base holds the cannon for display. From an old Arizona collection
