Original era manufacture. This interesting, all metal construction Lancer helmet, displays a Polish pattern brass royal eagle on its brow. Linked brass chinstrap secured with two Polish eagle side buttons.The underside of the mortarboard has an old dark red paint finish, with the remainder of the helmet painted black. Simple, German style black leather liner with repairs to some of the fingers.The helmet body appears to be made of brass, and the mortarboard of steel. The left corner of the visor is loose from the body, otherwise the helmet is quitesound.
