Original era manufacture. Brown russet leather cartridge pouch with canvas loops for 20, 30-40 Krag or 30.06 1903 Rifle ammunition. The leather surface is sound, showing light scuffing and wear from age and handling.Rivet repair on the bottom of one of the belt loops and the securing strap has been restitched. Last pattern of the McKeever designed cartridge box introduced in 1874.
