Original era manufacture and issue. A most unusual bar honoring the service of a naturalized US Soldier, who emigrated to the USA from Brazil in 1909. During the Mexican Campaign of 1916, he served in Company A 10th Signal BN, later during the Great War, the same unit, now attached to the US 7th Division in France. His WWII service unit is unknown at this time, however the ribbon on his ETO medal shows four campaign stars. The medals consist of the following, Army Good Conduct, US Army Mexican Service Medal (No.6520), WWI Victory with two clasps St.Mihiel & Defensive Sector, WWII ETO Medal, WWII Victory Medal, New York Mexican Border Service Medal N.6581 and WWI New York Service Medal number 67948. He died in 1986 at 93 years of age. Includes a multi-page research file.
