Original era manufacture. A very well made badge made in three segments, each is maker marked (E&H. Simoning) and is sterling marked. Produced in three classes, Gold, Silver & Bronze for awarding to those participating in high level Army marksmanship events. See page 160, figure 8.12 in the book, Marksmanship in the U.S. Army, by W.K.Emerson USA Retd. for additional information. The badge measures 60 mm in length.
