Original era manufacture. A very clean example of a bayonet which was quite busy during the earlymonths of America's participation in WWII. Originally produced with a 16 inch blade then cut-down to its present 10 inch length.SA 1918 dated on the ricasso, spearpoint blade with an even steel patina finish to blade, guard and pommel. Sound black plastic grips showing minimal surface wear to the ribbing.Original finish GI plastic scabbard showing with original parkerized finish to the scabbard throat. A very clean bayonet.
