Original period publication. A large format book, HB, E.B. Eaton 1907. 126 pages, of Brady and Gardner images of the American Civil War. Many of the images will be very familiar to students of the subject. The covers are loose, but the pages are sound, typical age and wear for 110 years.While preparing this old book for our site, we found several images placed between the pages. The first is a steel engraving of U.S. Grant, secondly and nice image of Robert E. Lee, and lastly a wood-cut image of General Sheridan, on a front page of Harper's Weekly, October 1864. These are included in the price of the book.
