Item #42885 : Original era manufacture. One of a number of issue cups we experimented with prior to the adoption of the 1910 pattern canteen. Stamped, tinned steel finish with an embossed US in the bottom, and a riveted loop handle.Similar examples can be found with a enamel, granite-wear type finish with a welded handle. Dark steel patina finish, no corrosion or denting, normal age and wear.
