Original era manufacture. A very well made, non functioning black leather cartridge box with an embossed US on the obverse. On the reverse are two ladder-type brass adjusting loops.Sound stitching throughout, with a nice gloss finish to the leather. Hard to say exactly how old this might be, but it is certainly not new.
