Original era manufacture. Black tarred canvas soft pack with all straps and buckles intact. Shows typical storage wear for its near 150 year age, some fraying and minor holes and tears. Overall the pack is quite sound. Very clear makers mark on one of the shoulder straps, Robinson New York, April 1864.
