Original era manufacture. This is a nice grouping consisting of 24 pieces of assorted ribbons and buttons from a member of the GAR who served with the 22nd New York Cavalry during the Civil War. A few of the highlights are three 1913 Gettysburg reunion medals and a facsimile of the famous red neckerchief worn by G.A.Custer with a bronze colored medal bearing his likeness. The medal announces the first reunion of Custer's Command in 1907. Another interesting piece is a handcarved bone ring bearing a Federal shield. Some of the silk ribbons show damage and others evidence of being glued onto an old display board. Unnamed.
