Original era manufacture. Polished steel bayonet with U.S. stamped into the base of the blade. A penny passes easily through the socket, so this bayonet has not been bushed down for a 45-70 rifle. Scattered areas of staining and cleaned corrosion pitting. Overall the finish is bright.
