Original era photography. A clear image of a young Union cavalryman with his pistol tucked into his belt, and saber hanging at his side. Interestingly he has folded down the collar of his shell jacket for comfort. The image is clear enough to see the stitch marks on the inner seam of his mounted pattern trousers. No photographers backmark.
