Original era manufacture. Heavy, cast brass buckle with a slight curve to it. Good detail on the obverse and showing a pleasing brass patina. A pattern of buckle used by Army officers of all ranks. I purchased a near identical buckle with a grouping to a Dragoon Officer about 30 years ago, I still have it too.
