Original era manufacture. Unmarked, polished steel yataghan shaped blade, measuring 21 inches in length. Steel patina mixed with staining and minor corrosion, most of the corrosion appearing on the point. Heavy cast brass grip and muzzle ring, marked on the grip spine 44, no other markings appear on the bayonet. The muzzle ring opening measures 22 mm at the top, and 23 mm on the bottom. Intact buff leather frog, with about 2/3 of the original black leather scabbard remaining.
