Original era manufacture. Sound example without its cover, maker marked on the zinc neckspout, R.H.Gratz & Co.Phila.Pa. Cork stopper may be from a later model canteen. Fragments of an old leather shoulder strap remain. Scattered denting to the body, nothing severe, just normal age and wear over the past 150 years.
