Original era manufacture. Lead filled brass circular plate which was lost during the Civil War and then field recovered many decades later, reportedly near the Cold Harbor battlefield. One of the mounting loops has rusted away, the other remains but flattened out. Most of the lead fill remains, the obverse show excellent detail and a nice patina.
