Original era manufacture. Black bridle leather headstall and reins with a '58 pattern bit with a tall port, and replaced curb chain. All of the buckle fittings on the bridle are iron, with flat tops and a black painted finish.The leather is pliable, the headband is of two sections of leather stitched together, which hold in place the US marked brass rosettes. The black leather reins are also pliable and are sewn to the bit rings, but they have been shortened by breakage, however they are of equal length.
