Original period manufacture. A great looking old pair of brass and steel bridle rosettes, which if memory serves, where used up to 1874 or so, when the bulls eye pattern rosettes were adopted.These have brass fronts, and backed with steel, with steel mounting loops.Dark brass patina to the obverse, with corrosion finish to the backing plates and mounting loops.
