Original period manufacture. A very clean late production Colt Navy percussion pistol in .36 caliber. All numbers matching, including the wedge, 200181, which according to Colt records indicates a manufacture year of 1867. Overall the pistol is very clean, no corrosion issues, it indexes properly and the cylinder locks up with minimal movement. Traces of the cylinder scene remain, including a surprising amount of original blue on the barrel in protected areas. The wedge is easily removed, showing a clean bore with good rifling. The loading lever is not numbered which is proper for this serial number range. A handsome old pistol produced just prior to the cartridge conversion years. US SALES ONLY
