Original era photography. Massive Imperial sized memorial image, by W. H. Tipton, Gettysburg, PA photographer. Erected by the State of New Jersey in1888 to honor the memory of the 6th New Jersey Infantry, who suffered the loss of 41 casualties of the 246 men brought on to the field. The mount measures 7.5 x 13 inches, with a very clear image of the memorial located near Devil's Den.
