Item #64605 : Original era manufacture. A solid example of a wood framed knapsack used in the early days of the Civil War and later by State Militias and schools. With period stenciled lettering in white paint. Missing all straps and fittings with portions of the flap a bit ragged around the edging. Still quite sound overall, displays quite well.
