Original era manufacture. Civil War M1840 US Army Musician's sword made by Ames and dated 1862.Clean, 28 inch polished steel blade with clear markings on the ricasso, even steel patina finish, no corrosion issues. Cast brass guard and grip with a mellow brass patina.No scabbard.
