Original era manufacture. Standard pattern M1840 Musicians Sword with the Horstmann's Phila. logo on the ricasso. Nice old patina finish to the brass guard and grip, with a very dark steel patina to the blade. The blade has scattered areas of old corrosion, but the temper remains intact, and the blade runs fairly straight with a slight bend near the tip.
