Original period manufacture. Very clean, 36 inch polished steel blade which is maker marked PDL and Tiffany & Co. New York, on it's ricasso. Original polish to the blade surface, no nicks in the edge or corrosion problems, runs straight and true. Steel guard and pommel with an even patina finish, light amount of cleaned corrosion on the guard. The grip wrapping is very sound but honestly think it was replaced many years ago, single twisted brass wire binding. Steel scabbard with dual carrying rings,scattered staining and very light shallow denting from age and service use.
