Original era manufacture. A fairly straight 32 inch sword with etched panels on each side of the blade. The blade surface presents an even steel patina finish with pitting and staining at the tip. The cutting edge has not been sharpened and it is without nicks or dings.Cast brass guard and pommel cap with a floral design, and a nice mellow brass patina finish. Black leather covered grip which looks to have been painted over at some point in time, bound with triple strand brass wire.No maker or import markings on the ricasso, the sword is tight, does not rattle and is without a scabbard.
