Original era manufacture. A sound example in black bridle leather, with an embossed US within an oval, on the front of the flap.Both tins are present, as are the attaching buckles on the bottom of the pouch, and the brass closure stud as well.It appears that another emblem, or piece of insignia was placed over the US oval at one point, as two very small holes are visible at top and bottom. Faint Philadelphia makers name and US inspector stamps on the inner cover. Minimal surface flaking, and the body is not crushed.
