Original era manufacture and photography. US Civil War GAR grouping belonging to Lyman U. Lee, who served in the 5th Massachusetts Infantry September 1862-July 1863, and then the 2nd Massachusetts Heavy Artillery December 1863-September 1865. He was promoted to Lieutenant on 21 January 1865.In the postcard sized photograph of Mr Lee he can be seen wearing most of the items included in the lot. Penciled inscription on the reverse. He was a member of Post 101 in Groveland Massachusetts, he passed away in 1915.
