Original era manufacture. All steel construction with the Clauberg Arrow proof on the ricasso. The polished steel blade measures 32.5 inches in length with a steel patina finish. There are a few small nicks in the edge, more felt than seen, no corrosion issues. The blade runs fairly straight and true, with a very slight bend about 4 inches back from the point. Pierced steel guard with a very dramatic looking Federal eagle. Fishskin wrapped grip which is bound with triple strand copper wire. Matching patina finish steel scabbard, displaying normal age and wear with some service denting near the tip.
