Original era publication. December 29 1862 edition of the New York Tribune, large format, 8 page newspaper loaded with news of the Civil War. Of note to Western collectors is a dispatch from Sante Fe New Mexico Territory mentioning the defeat of the Rebel Forces, Fort Stanton, Colonel (Kit) Carson. Very sound condition for it's age, no issues. Also mentioned is the capture of the steamship Aerial by the RebelRaider CSS Alabama. Great stuff...We get to read history as they read it 150 years ago.
