Current era production. Blue wool waist length coat with shoulder straps and a nine button front, size about a 40 regular. I received this coat in trade from a fellow collector from Alabama, around the late 1990's. He advised me that it was made by Charlie Childs, no label or ink stamping appears to prove that. However I can say that the tailoring, quality of materials used in it's construction is first rate, and fit me like a tailored coat. All of the buttons appear to be original Civil War pattern. No moth issues or staining, just normal age and wear. Time to start cleaning out the closet.
