Original period photography. Interesting sixth plate tintedambrotype image of a seated Union soldier in the position of Support Arms. Gilding to his buttons and barrel bands. He wears a New York style shell jacket with epaulettes and forage cap. Slightly solarized around the edges, with an original matt and case with an intact original cloth hinge.
