Original period photography. Full length sixth plate image of an armed Union soldier before a painted backdrop. He stands at the position of attention with his musket, belt & buckle visible. Heiswearingthe issue 9 button frock coat and forage cap. The image is dark from age with a slightly uneven surface finish. No covering glass came with this guy.
