Original era manufacture. US Civil War 1/6 plate tintype of a seatedNCO holding his sword. Tinted cheeks and gold tinted highlights. He resides in a period wooden half case with an inscription on the interior which may or may not be this soldier. We haven't taken the time to research him. However the image is quite clear showing excellent detail.
