Original era manufacture. Standard US Civil War M1858 enlisted buckle, field recovered near the Stone's River Battalefield years ago. The buckle is complete with its attaching prongs and a nice patina to its brass face. Lead loss around the reverse as shown. This year, 2012, marks the 150th Anniversary of the Battle of Stones River (Murfreesboro Tenn.)on December 31'st 1862.
