Original era manufacture. A very clean example of a medal established in 1866. Original ribbon and suspension bar. Named on the edge to Robert Fletcher, Company E, 10th Reg Inf. The 10th regiment served 1862-65, suffering the loss of 95 officers and men killed or mortally wounded, with an additional 146 to disease. They witnessed the surrender of Lee's Army of Northern Virginia at Appomattox Court House.
