Original era publication. An 1864 dated application for relief by the widow of Private Riley Calkins, who died of disease in June of 1864, and is buried in Arlington National Cemetery. Purchased as part of the collection of a 94 year old local WWII veteran, who collected Civil War memorabilia for most of his life.
