Original era manufacture. Vanguard manufacture, clutch back reverse, no damage. Each measures 33 x 34 mm. Founded in 1861, the 18th Infantry served throughout the Civil War in the Western Theater. A group of 49 18th Infantry soldiers died at the hands of the Sioux during the Fetterman Massacre in 1866. Units of the 18th assaulted Omaha Beach 6 June 1944, other units of the 18th served during Desert Storm and Iraqi Freedom.
