Original era manufacture. A very clean example of the regulation US Navy officers sword, German made, and displaying the Wolf-Brown importers marks on the ricasso.This is a very high quality sword with a double etched blade running straight and true, and measuring 32 inches in length. Gilded brass guard and pommel, ivory colored pebbled plastic grip bound with double strand twisted wire.Black leather covered metal scabbard, with gilt metal fittings. No loss to the leather or chips or cracking. A very clean sword showing light age and wear.
