Original era manufacture. A very clean example displaying the NS Meyer trademark on its ricasso. Etched panels on each side of the blade, with the blade measuring 30 inches in length. Gilded brass guard and pommel with a black leather covered grip bound with single strand twisted brass wire. Leather covered metal bodied scabbard with gilded brass chape and throat. Engraved onto the throat is the name of a Marine NCO who served between 1941 and 1947. Very clean example.
