Original era manufacture. Straight, polished steel blade, with blue panels on each side, overall length measuring 32 inches. The blue panels display gilded decoration, with most of the original finish remaining intact. The blade runs straight and true, with a light dusting of surface corrosion.Ornate brass guard with an eagle head pommel, and an American eagle on the obverse langet. Carved bone grip with a crack in the obverse side, but no missing pieces.Nice even patina to all components, no scabbard
