US Early 20th Century Civil War Toy Cannon, Brass Barrel

Original era manufactured. This great looking old miniature cannon has a machine-turned brass barrel, and a cast steel carriageand wheels.The barrel is similar to a Civil War Parrot Rifle with a barrel length of 13 inches. There is a threaded steel, spring loaded rod at the breech with a machined brass "pull".When grasped between two fingers it can be pulled back about an inch, but it does not lock into position.The cast steel wheels stand 9 inches in height, and the carriage measures 15.5 inches in length, all with a matt silver paint finish, worn in spots. I have not been able to see any makers name or marks on the barrel or frame. This was part of an old Arizona collection we purchased around five years ago, it has sat on the floor in my collecting roomever since; however recent acquisitions, and the need for additional space, nowrequire it to move on to your room. Heavy construction throughout.
