Original period manufacture. Shield shaped brass DUI with an enameled obverse. Large, tack-like mounting pins posts on the reverse. Complete with postwar clutch attachments. Online sources state that these pattern attaching posts could also be of Japanese manufacture. The 452nd was a AAA outfit, made up of Negro troops. They served in the ETO during WWII and their August 1945 location was Landau Germany.
