Original era manufacture. Black leather pouch with a reinforced closure strap tab. Inside are loops for 20, 45-70 rifle cartridges. Tiny brass ANSON-MILLS marked brass plate on each half of the interior, Dec.28 (18)80 patent date. Normal age and wear, no damage.
