Item #69962 : Original period manufacture. Nine button front (top button is loose) dark blue wool coat with white wool collar, straps and cuffs. Adopted in 1885 when the Infantry service color was changed from light blue to white, only to change back to blue in 1902. A handsome old coat in very clean condition, complete lining, very minor moth issues (a small bite or two) with a clear issue stamp in the lining. Size about a 38.
