Original era photography. A large format sepia tone group photograph of 7 Regular Army NCO's wearing the dress uniform and helmet of the era. All of the men (except the bandmaster) are wearing a marksmanship badge introduced in 1885, and five of the men wear the 1874 belt plate with the hooks for the Palmer Brace System.The image measures 8 x 6 inches, is clear, with excellent detail, but sadly, has been mistreated in its life as several tears in the edges, and perforation marks exist on the image. Regardless, it remains an excellent photographic record of the era.
